Red Moon

Who blew into me this morning?

Sunshine streaming through likening me to a source of endless energy.

How the wind changed in the afternoon,

sappless shoot limping over in defeat I became.

And tonight there is not even the slightest breeze,

I am simply empty.

This is merely the abridged version of the moods which rained down upon me today.

The forecast for tomorrow a benign mystery.

I am a force of nature far more unpredictable than mere weather.

I am a woman on the cusp of her world becoming red,

and my tolerance has frozen over.
